Dinner Dance/Live Auction  (date to be decided upon)

The bazaar is not only a tradition to the St. Agnes community, but it is also a terrific way to get to know other parents and to have fun. Plus it is a great way to earn your fair share hours! The parents of St. Agnes school children organize the bazaar. And we are always happy to welcome new volunteers. There are many different activities you can join in on. We have craft nights, gift basket night, baking, setting up, working the bazaar, and much more. So whether you are volunteering or donating, we appreciate all your help!

And when the big weekend is over and you sit down to relax you will feel a great sense of accomplishment knowing you helped your child's school and community along with gaining many new friends to enjoy throughout your years at St. Agnes.

If you have any questions or would like further information, please feel free to contact one of the Bazaar Coordinators: Melissa Noviello at mnoviello@aol.com and Terry Reis at reis02474@yahoo.com

Below is a list of the tables and events that will be a part of the 2006 Christmas Bazaar.

Afghans:
Are you able to knit or crochet or do you know someone who can? If so, please think about joining the bazaar team. We are looking for new blankets, throws or anything that can keep you warm!

Baked Goods:
If you love to bake, we would love to hear from you. We are always looking for baked goods at the Bake Table. And, of course, baking is always something you can do in the luxury of your own home and still be helping out the bazaar! But if you want to be where the action is, we are always looking for volunteers to work at the table during the bazaar.

Apple Pies:
The all American Apple Pie. Everyone loves them. If you enjoy making apple pies - join in the fun.

Baskets:
Gift baskets, kids baskets, sport baskets, baby baskets, cooking baskets...... You name it we can have it. If you have ideas or would love to be a part of working on the baskets, please let us know. We have a "Basket Night" right before the bazaar where everyone gets together to make the baskets. It is alot of fun and a great way to meet other parents. Plus there is always volunteer hours working at the table.

Crafts:
We are always looking for volunteers to help out with the crafts table. This project is so much fun. Do you like to sew or paint? Are you creative - do you have some great ideas? If so, jump on board. If not, but you still love working with crafts, then please join in.

Candy and Fudge:
One of the "sweetest" tables the bazaar offers!

Food Cart:
Have you always wanted to work a cotton candy machine? How about popcorn and ice cream. This is a favorite of kids and adults alike.

Grand Prize Raffle:
Raffle tickets are given out to each family of the school. You can earn fair share hours selling your tickets. The tickets are also available for sale during the bazaar - so there are plenty of hours to help out volunteering.

Jewelry:
This table is always a favorite with the girls! They have some great pieces and are always looking for volunteers to work during the bazaar.

Kids Corner:
A great place for the kids to have some fun. We have crafts to make and games to play.

Novelties:
Something for everyone - especially the kids. This table is great fun and is always busy.

Penny Raffle:
This table offers all types of great little "gifts/games/toys" that you can buy tickets for end of the bazaar raffle. Another favorite of the kids.

Silent Auction/Live Action event:
Do you have a business? A special talent? Season tickets? Anything that you might like to donate? We are always looking for donations. And new this year is the Silent/Live Auction event on Saturday night. There will be much preparation for this event, so volunteers are needed (ie: making calls, visiting businesses, setup for the event, working the event).

Snack Bar:
The best eats during the bazaar. Everyone drops by for the famous lobster roll, pizza, snacks and drinks. This is a busy but fun environment.

Sports:
A hit with all the kids. The sports table is a fun and lively table to be a part of. It is run as a raffle - with winners getting some great sports items.

Wheel of Fortune:
Place down some money and spin the wheel to win. We have bottles of soda, wine, and liquor. Plus there are surprises throughout the bazaar. If you have always wanted to work in "Vegas" - this might be a great place to help out.

Bring Your Goods to the Table

Do you have a service, business, or talent? The bazaar is always looking for charitable donations to use at the bazaar or for the silent/live auction event. Do you work at a bakery or food service company - maybe you would like to donate soda or hotdog rolls? Do you own season tickets to a sporting event - maybe you would like donate tickets to a game? Do you own or work at a business that provides a service - maybe you would like to donate a few hours of that service? Whatever your talents are we can utilize them. If you have something you would like to share, please email Mary and let us know.

Let's work together to make the bazaar the most successful to date!!!
